helms would evolve, as mobility, line of sight
and breathing became a necessity, while still
having effective protection for the head. Some
would be quite cumbersome, such as the great helm.
Some would be less so, and as such not as protective,
such as some of the viking and celtic types.

Dragon Helm Metal Spikes

"Dragon" style helm that is depicted with our
"Dragonheart" set of armour on the
"Combinations" page. Heavy 12/14 oz leather is
employed in the construction of this unique
style of LARP helm. Nickel plated 1" pyramid
style spikes run over the crown of the head
and black rivets complement the dark features.
"Lobster tail" articulated lames cover the
back of the neck. No liner needed for this
helm, just add one of our arming caps for a
comfortable fit and your off!

Dragon Helm Leather Spiked Crest

construction, this "Dragon" style helm sports
wider "wings" which cover more of the jawline
and ear area. Individually textured and molded
leather "spikes" run the extent of the crown
to the segmented "Lobster tail" which covers
the back of the neck. Oriented towards the
fantasy costume or LARPer, this sturdy
piece is crafted from heavy 12/14 oz leather
with black rivets. This helm is one of a kind
and no two are exactly alike.
Add one of our arming
